Simon Applebaum, Gold Medal’s managing director, and Qantas’s regional manager Stephanie Seymour will join Sally Cope, Tourism Australia’s regional general manager, in a panel discussion at TTG Aussie Fest on 4 April.
The seminar session will reveal expert insight into booking trends spanning Australia’s most popular destinations, consumer spend and changes in customer preferences, as well as product updates from Gold Medal, Qantas and Tourism Australia.
This supplier update, which will kick off at 2.10pm and is hosted by TTG’s Pippa Jacks, will be followed by an agent-led discussion on building Australian holiday itineraries.
Flight Centre’s Nikki Metcalfe and Hallmark Travel’s Charmaine Hallmark will be the Australian specialists taking to the screen to share their extensive knowledge of curating trips Down Under.
TTG Aussie Fest is a free-to-attend week-long series of virtual events taking place 4-8 April, designed to bolster agents’ knowledge of Australia and boost their confidence in selling the destination.
Virtual fam trips, experiential workshops and in-depth training sessions will follow Monday’s seminar, while all attendees are being offered the opportunity to win a pair of Qantas flights to Australia and Aussie BBQ party packs from Gold Medal.
