The properties will remain under the Ibis Styles brand and be operated by Starboard under franchise from Accor.
The hotels are located in Barnsley, Birmingham NEC, Crewe and Haydock and mean Starboard now has 19 hotels in its portfolio with nearly 2,000 rooms across brands including IHG, Wyndham and Best Western.
The shares in the hotel-owning companies were purchased from Carillion after being brought to the market more than a year ago for offers in excess of £30 million and purchased by Starboard for an undisclosed sum
