The accommodation specialist also reported it was trading at 13% ahead of the same point in summer 2020.
Stuba said it saw a "marked improvement" in sales across the last 10 days of January once the UK government announced the easing of travel restrictions.
Stuba also reported a surge in late bookings, with 30% of bookings taken last month for arrivals from 31 March. The US contributed to 37% of the firm’s overall sales generated in January.
Chief commercial officer, Matt Stuart, said "it looks like confidence to travel" had "finally returned".
"January was already looking strong for us, and following the easing of restrictions we have seen a significant uptick in sales for the final 10 days," he added.
"To have our record sales day in our 30 years of trading is fantastic, and huge thanks go to all of our agents and brilliant staff for their support in recent times."
