The newly appointed individuals are Flight Centre UK chief financial officer Adam Murray; Munro’s Travel managing director Murray Burnett; corporate travel managing director for Travel Counsellors Kieran Hartwell and Kevin Harrison, managing director of Good Travel.
Clive Wratten, chief executive of the BTA, said: "I am delighted to welcome the fab four to the board. I have a lot of respect for each new member and look forward to the new energy and ideas they will bring.
"We are pleased that we have directors joining the board from across the UK, including business owners from Hull and Scotland, ready to bring a youthful dynamism to the team."
The new members, who joined the association’s board on Monday (26 September), will work to raise awareness of the role business travel plays in the UK economy and aid in the BTA’s push for "frictionless travel" across the UK.
