Thomas Cook has offered a first look inside its new Casa Cook Ibiza hotel, complete with swim-up rooms, open-air yoga and minimalist Mediterranean styling.
The adults-only hotel, situated in a secluded bay near San Antonio, was soft-launched last month with 80 rooms. Another 60, along with 50 suites, will open next year, as will another restaurant, bar and 50-metre pool.
Phase one includes two penthouse suites with terraces and swim-up pool rooms; a spa offering a range of treatments using all-natural products; and an open-air yoga shala with views across the bay.
There is also a small gym in the spa available to guests booking this year. A larger gym will form part of phase two of the development.
Cook says Casa Cook Ibiza has been designed to blend minimalism with Mediterranean living, its rooms blurring interior and exterior spaces with large windows, balconies and terraces while making use of natural and reclaimed materials, and local foliage.
It is Cook’s fourth Casa Cook property following Rhodes, Kos and a family-friendly Chania opening, with El Gouna in Egypt to follow later this year.
