Within two weeks of launching the programme, the company has seen "huge interest and success" with "many applications" and three new recruits hired onto the scheme.
With the closing date two weeks away, Martin Johnson, co-founder and director of Latin Routes, is expecting "even more" people to sign up.
"We’re thrilled that our Trainee Programme has been well received, and that many young people have seen it as the route they need, into the travel industry," he added.
"Many travel businesses require travel industry experience before they even consider hiring someone, so our programme is a great way to entice people into an amazing industry and to gain that experience as they do."
Despite being aimed at those who have recently graduated university, or looking to pursue a career in travel, the initiative is also open to industry staff – such as agents – looking for a new opportunity.
Interested parties should send their CVs to Latin Routes senior sales manager Alex Grose: alex.grose@latinroutes.co.uk.
