Staff led thrillseekers down the tracks of the Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach after it was stopped due to safety reasons.
The 235ft rollercoaster was then closed for the rest of the day. People can pay to walk the ride once a month with full safety equipment.
According to the BBC, passengers were seen being helped down the rollercoaster’s tracks on Tuesday (11 April).
A spokesperson confirmed the ride was stopped due to "sudden changes in weather conditions".
