Converge Exhibitions has partnered with Adventure Connection to put on the Wildlife, Safari and Conservation Summit (11 October) in Harrogate.
It will feature conference sessions, round-table discussions and various networking opportunities.
“We created the summit so delegates can meet potential partners without having to deal with customers at the same time,” Converge director Debbee Dale told TTG.
Converge hopes to attract both agents and operators to the event to network and discuss key topics affecting the wildlife and safari sector, and help them build their product and destination knowledge.
In the morning, round-tables will debate animal welfare in tourism, travelling without plastic, expedition and small-ship cruising, and how to maximise educational trips. There will also be a marketplace featuring around 20 exhibitors.
Afternoon conference sessions will explore how to generate new business from wildlife documentaries and achieve a more “joined-up” approach to marketing, PR and social media strategy.
Tickets for the summit are priced from £125pp and are available from wscsummit.com
