The Transport Select Committee has called on the travel sector to offer ideas for its next in-depth inquiry centred around “the future of transportation”.

The cross-party committee of MPs said it wanted to assess the impact “new and disruptive technologies and trends” could have across the industry.
It has launched an appeal for “experts, researchers and innovative thinkers” to share their views on what the committee should be investigating as it scrutinises government transport policy.
The appeal follows recent comments from new committee chair Iain Stewart to TTG about offering a more forward-looking perspective.
