The “Journeys with Care” brochure provides information on how to travel more sustainably and is at the heart of the homeworking firm’s responsible travel campaign.
It features five chapters: adventure, beach, couples, cruise and family, and aims to give the reader details about destinations and showcase hotel sustainability initiatives.
The brochure also contains information about Travel Counsellors green leaf labelled hotels.
To support the brochure launch, Travel Counsellors can access marketing materials such as dedicated emails, e-cards and social assets alongside a training guide.
Travel Counsellors recently launched an initiative to find the company’s “sustainability champions” and a recent survey carried out by the homeworking giant revealed that more than of Travel Counsellors (54%) want travel firms to offer more sustainable products.
Joe Whittle, sustainability and impact lead at Travel Counsellors, said: “[Sustainability] is no longer a niche subject and it’s something we more people to get involved with.
“By educating our community and highlighting the products that are making a difference, we are demonstrating our commitment to fostering a more sustainable future for the travel industry.
“We are now more thoughtful about our impact on the places and people we visit, and we are more aware than ever of the need to work together with partners towards shared goals in this area.”
