“We’re so excited Travelsphere is returning to Egypt, which was always one of our most popular destinations," said Travelsphere sales director Sarah Weetman.
"Our new holiday has it all, from taking in the bustling city of Cairo, seeing the Pyramids, to relaxing and watching Egypt sail by as we take our customers in style from Luxor to Aswan on a luxurious river cruise."
Treasures of Egypt – Pyramids and a Nile Cruise starts in Egypt’s capital Cairo with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx.
The tour includes the Egyptian Museum, home to the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world, featuring the collection of Tutankhamun.
After Cairo, the tour heads to Luxor for a visit to the Karnak temple complex and Avenue of Sphinxes before guests board the Steigenberger Minerva, with each day of the Nile river cruise featuring input from a Travelsphere holiday director.
Sights include the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Hatsheput, while experiences include a horse-drawn carriage ride to Edfu and a visit to the Aswan High Dam.
