Deputy news editor Tom Parry was named Trade Writer of the Year, fresh from having been named last month as one of the Professional Publishers Association 30 under 30 for 2021.
TTG, meanwhile, was named as Trade Publication of the Year – Print and Trade Publication of the Year – Online, which was shared with The Business Travel Magazine.
It comes after TTG Media was recently shortlisted for five accolades at the PPA Independent Publishers Awards, including Independent Publishing Company of the Year.
Dan Pearce, TTG CEO, said: "These awards recognise the sustained hard work and dedication of the TTG team during what has been a period of unprecedented challenge and upheaval. TTG has led the fight for a better deal for the travel industry, and sought to ensure agents’ voices are heard, all without losing sight of the issues the industry will face as we emerge from the Covid crisis.
"We are particularly proud of Tom’s achievement, which reflects how he has continued to progress during the pandemic while finding time to take an authoritative lead on vital topics such as mental health."
Parry added: "It’s amazing to be named Trade Writer of the Year for 2021, and massive thanks to the Travel Media Awards judges for deeming me worthy of such an honour. It’s incredibly humbling to win this award after such a difficult time for the TTG team, our readers and so many of our peers in the trade press.
"Team TTG are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done during this time and have always strived to support our brilliant industry however we can. To collect three awards last night was truly special recognition of those efforts and means so much to us all."
