Katherine Lawrey rejoins TTG as features editor this week, after having been features editor between 2013-2016, and a total of 11 years with the business. Since leaving TTG, Lawrey has worked in a variety of writing and editing roles, most recently as senior content editor at Telegraph Travel. 

Former news editor Jennifer Brookes-Morris, who is currently on maternity leave, is also to return to the team in July, working two days a week as a contributing editor.

James Chapple, who had been acting news editor in her absence, has been promoted into the news editor role, while Tom Parry, who had been acting deputy news editor, has been promoted to deputy news editor. 

Former contributing editor Abigail Challenor, who is currently on maternity leave, will be part of TTG’s extended family, working on a freelance basis from September onwards.
