Anyone can join the community to receive regular updates from across the UK and Ireland travel trade, from key news updates to important personnel changes.

Top stories from the morning, as well as TTG’s daily Must Read, will be sent to the group, in addition to breaking news stories. Members can mute the channel if they prefer, but will still be able to check in on the latest news as and when it suits them.

It follows TTG reader research, which found 73% of agents believe TTG reassures them they are on top of industry developments. A further 78% said TTG offers valuable intelligence, while 42% said TTG provides them with information they cannot get elsewhere.

“TTG is dedicated to serving our readers in the best way we possibly can,” said TTG Media CEO Daniel Pearce. “Our research last year demonstrated just how much TTG is valued by readers, with many preferring us as their most trusted travel trade source.

“This new WhatsApp service is just one of a number of new, exciting developments being launched by TTG in our Platinum Jubilee year – we’re looking forward to announcing further innovations in the coming months.”

Members of the new WhatsApp community will not be able to comment or reply within the group. However, TTG always values feedback from readers – those wishing to get in touch are invited to email editor Sophie Griffiths at sgriffiths@ttgmedia.com.
