Market insight, selling tips and destination news is among the TTG Spain Fest content now available to watch on demand
TTG Spain Fest, which took place 11-15 September 2023, delivered more than 18 market insight and training sessions which each lasted between 20 and 40 minutes. All are now available to watch on demand at ttgmedia.com/spainfest.
Topics covered included city breaks, island escapes and family travel, as well as special focuses on itinerary building and myth-busting for both Benidorm and Costa del Sol.
Popular accommodation brands such as Iberostar and Palladium were also highlighted, and the digital festival’s 12 destination and hotel partners each delivered targeted training presentations designed to help agents improve their knowledge and increase their sales.
“We are very happy with how the year is progressing and our goals are fully achieved,” said Pedro Medina Asensio, deputy director for the Spanish Tourist Office in the UK, during a session titled Spotlight on Spain – What’s New?
He added: “It has been one of the best years in our history – there is an outward trend to explore more areas of Spain, more lesser-known Spanish destinations, and we know the British market is increasingly demanding sustainable tourism, which is an objective we have been immersed in these past few years. The future, in this sense, is exciting.”
