In its 12th year, a new group of 30 will follow in the illustrious footsteps of an exclusive club that now numbers an incredible 330 alumni. These young women and men all made an incredible impression on joining the industry and many have gone on to even greater heights.
Headline sponsor Tui is back, alongside our long-term supporting partner the Institute of Travel & Tourism, to help TTG Media identify 30 young bright minds to join the TTG 30 Under 30 programme.
Phillip Iverson, commercial director, Tui UK & Ireland says: “TUI UK is thrilled to once again be supporting the TTG 30 under 30 scheme. For me personally, it is amazing to see the high calibre of talent we have within travel and to watch them become the best possible leaders they can driving our incredible industry into the future.”
This year there’s a new element to the entry process – after the initial shortlisting, finalists will be asked to submit a one-minute video in the form of a personal statement, highlighting their achievements and reasons for entering.
All successful candidates will be invited to a series of networking events throughout the year including dinners with inspirational speakers, plus they’ll be able to take advantage of their complimentary ITT and AWTE annual memberships.
TTG Media CEO Daniel Pearce urged young people from across the travel industry to enter: "With 12 years of history behind us now, the TTG 30 Under 30 community is a huge roll call of dynamic, emerging leaders in travel. I can’t wait to see who emerges from the process this year.”
Tia Ghai, strategic account manager, Attraction World Group, and part of the outgoing 2023-2024 cohort, says: “30 Under 30 is a life-changing opportunity to put your name on the travel map and a widely recognised accolade. I have made some fantastic friends and connections that will stay with me for life.”
While Leigh Smith, senior CRM producer, Celebrity Cruises, says: “The sessions TTG run are very well organised and provide an excellent balance of social events, and opportunities to learn from industry leaders. I couldn’t recommend this opportunity enough.”
And Tom Miller, senior account director, MMGY Hills Balfour adds: “Being a member of the 30 Under 30 cohort has been an immense honour and I have already felt the benefits in my career. Travel is a force for good in our world and being able to grow with like-minded professionals who will be leading our industry in the future has been incredibly rewarding.”
