A new group executive committee for the Tui Group met for the first time yesterday, ahead of the completion of the merger between Tui AG and Tui Travel.
The team, which will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the new Tui Group, met in London.
It has 13 members, including:
- Friedrich Joussen, joint chief executive
- Peter Long, joint chief-executive
- Johan Lundgren, deputy chief executive of mainstream
- William Waggot, chief executive of accommodation and destinations and specialist and activity
- Jacky Simmonds, Group HR Director
Tui Group shares will begin trading on the London Stock Exchange at 8am on December 17.
