Tui UK & Ireland has promoted two members of staff to the UK board with immediate effect.
Digital director Jeremy Osborne has been appointed to board director of strategic innovation and business change while he will also lead the business-wide innovation programme within the newly formed TraveLab.
Meanwhile, Thomson Cruise managing director Helen Caron has joined the board in recognition of the part cruise is playing in the company’s overall growth.
She will focus on improving product and customer experience as well as continuing to drive forward cruise strategy.
Tui UK & Ireland managing director Nick Longman said: “I am delighted to welcome Jeremy and Helen to the UK Board.
“They bring a huge amount of expertise and experience to the business and, alongside my other board members, are fundamental in delivering a best in class offering for our customers.
“The introduction of the TraveLab innovation programme is a very exciting step on our journey; it will allow us to continually drive the business forward in an increasingly technologically driven world.
“I’m confident that these changes will improve both strategic focus and operational delivery, which will provide our customers with an even better holiday experience.”
It is good to see just how seriously Tui is taking both cruise and innovation with these two appointments
