News Travel, based in London, traded under several brand names, including Email Cheap Flights, Email Holidays, Bargain Holidays Travel, Holidays to Caribbean, Email Hotels, Thailand Holiday, Business Class Flights and Email Flights.

The CAA said News Travel held an Atol up to 31 March 2021 with all booking and payments made after 30 April not protected by the Atol scheme.

Northumberland-based Tangent Expeditions traded under the website brands: tangent-expeditions.co.uk, greenlandexpeditions.com and icemanpolar.com.

Tangent also held an Atol up to 31 March 2021 with bookings and payments made after 30 April not being Atol-protected.

“We are currently collating information from the company and will update this page as soon as possible,” added the CAA. “Whilst waiting for further information, please do not use claim forms from other failures as these cannot be accepted.”
