Organised by managing director Chris North, the event, at Hollywood Bowl in Basildon, was attended by current staff and former employees of the travel technology specialist.
The group was joined by colleagues from parent company Vertical Travel Group, including the team from Instant Breaks and homeworking agents from Holiday Elite and Your Holiday Booking.
North said the Vertical staff wanted to show their “much-needed support” of the industry charity and its work helping the wider UK travel sector.
“The last few years have been challenging to say the least and the opportunity to raise some funds and get our team together for some healthy competition is a win for everyone,” he said.
Abta LifeLine director Trudie Clements thanked the team’s efforts and added the event was particularly important as it coincided with Mental Health Awareness Week.
“A huge thank you to Vertical Systems for supporting LifeLine at their bowling event; not only by raising vital funds but also by raising the importance of mental health and the vital role our Get Travel Talking Champions network will play in supporting travel colleagues struggling with their own mental health," she said.
