Royal Caribbean International’s Wonder of the Seas is one step closer to completion after finishing its first set of sea trials in France.
The trials are a series of performance checks conducted across several days, including propulsion, navigation and engine performance tests.
More than 40 sea acceptance examinations and inspections have been carried out so far.
Wonder will debut in March 2022 as the fifth ship in Royal’s Oasis Class.
A spokesperson for the line said: "Wonder of the Seas will be the biggest ship in the world and is set to build on the signature features and experiences the game-changing class of ships have touted since first revolutionising the cruise industry more than a decade ago."
