Virgin Atlantic has announced a new line-up for its commercial team, with former British Airways UK and Ireland sales lead Luke Goggin joining the carrier as vice president of global sales later this year.

Goggin was previously head of UK and Ireland sales and global accounts at British Airways and will take up his new role at Virgin Atlantic in August. Rachel Wilton, who is head of sales operations at Virgin Atlantic, will act as interim vice president, global sales until Goggin joins.
In another move, Liz Mathews will join the company as vice president of Virgin Atlantic Holidays in March. Mathews was previously retail managing director at Flight Centre Travel Group.
