Agents taking part in the competition will be sent a text message containing a question about Virgin Voyages, and everyone who texts back with the correct answer will be entered into a draw to win one of 10 bottles of champagne. Find out more and enter here.
The competition will be repeated monthly and entrants can sign up at any point during the year. Everyone who enters by 30 March will receive a text message on 31 March containing their first question, and the monthly draws mean there will be more than 100 opportunities to win during 2023.
SJ Walker, director of sales at Virgin Voyages, says the competition echoes the line’s Shake For Champagne feature within its customer app. She explains: “Our Sailor [customer] experience is driven by our clever use of technology. “We wanted to bring that clever use of technology to shore and are thrilled to be partnering with TTG to create this fun competition.”
Walker said Virgin Voyages’ mission is to make “an Epic Sea Change For All” in the cruise industry, and said the line wants to “have our travel agents partners by our side”.

In May Virgin Voyages will launch its third ship, Resilient Lady, offering seven-night itineraries in the Mediterranean, sailing from Piraeus (Athens).
