Agents who have long dreamed of tying the knot in Las Vegas - and having Elvis officiate at their nuptials - now have the chance to make it a reality thanks to a new incentive from Attraction World.
Famed for its glitz and glamour, Las Vegas has long been a draw for lovebirds keen to tie the knot without the stuffiness of a traditional wedding.
Now, Attraction World has teamed up with A Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas to give hard-working, loved up agents the chance to win the wedding – and holiday – of a lifetime and say “I do!” before The King himself.
The tickets specialist’s “Win Your Wedding” competition will open for entries on March 21.
Agents wanting to be in with a chance of bagging the prize must reimagine their favourite Elvis tune, record it on their phone or with their camera, and then upload the video (maximum two minutes) to Attraction World’s dedicated competition page, before April 20.
They are also encouraged to share their efforts on social media using #AWVegasVows.
Submissions can be as wacky as desired – participants can choose to sing like The King, dance like The King, maybe even dig out those blue suede shoes.
But they must make sure they let everyone know why they deserve to win this wedding.
Entries will then go to a public vote hosted on the Attraction World Facebook page over April 20-27, with the winner due to be announced at 5pm on April 27.
No cheating though, of course – any entries featuring official Elvis recordings will sadly have to be ruled out.
Simon Garrido, Attraction World head of sales, said it was time to give agents a little something to get excited about. “After all the stress of peaks, we thought it was time we returned to something fun – and in true Attraction World style, you got it,” he said.
The full prize includes: a Viva Elvis package courtesy of a Las Vegas wedding chapel; return hotel-chapel transfers in a Pink Cadillac, return flights for two from Manchester to Las Vegas courtesy of Thomas Cook Airlines; four nights’ accommodation; two Las Vegas strip night flights courtesy of Papillon Helicopters; and a Venetian gondola grand trio package for two courtesy of Merlin USA.
Agents can submit their entries through the Attraction World website.
