The Hungary-based budget carrier will start operating the daily service from 26 March, as part of its expansion from Gatwick which has also included the addition of new routes to Lyon, Marrakech, Agadir and Sharm El Sheikh on Egypt’s Red Sea coast.
Marion Geoffroy, managing director of Wizz Air UK, said: “This is an important expansion to our network as it will offer passengers the chance to fly with us directly to the French Riviera ahead of the summer season.”
Wizz opened its base at Gatwick in October 2020 and now serves more than 25 destinations from the airport.
