The show will return to London’s ExCeL exhibition centre from 1-3 November after having to host a purely virtual event in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Conference highlights will include the WTM London Industry Report providing inside information on the views of the industry and UK holidaymakers, while research firm Euromonitor international will reveal its latest innovation report.
The post-Covid landscape for airlines will be examined during WTM’s Big Airline Session and airline bosses will also be attending to explain how they managed their businesses during the crisis and their vision for the future.
An afternoon will also be dedicated to winning customers and making money in travel in 2022, while other sessions will focus on agents, Brexit and the future of the travel industry workforce.
China and Saudi Arabia will be two countries in focus during WTM London this year, with the WTM China Forum as well as two sessions on the emergence of Saudi Arabia as a tourist destination.
Other returning events will include the Responsible Tourism session and awards, as well as the UNWTO, WTTC and WTM Ministers’ Summit.
Charlotte Alderslade, conference and seminar manager for WTM Portfolio, said: “With pent-up demand for 2022, it’s crucial to ensure travel providers and destinations are one step ahead when it comes to planning for the future, so this year we have a real an emphasis on research, trends and the future of travel.
“We’re extremely excited to reunite with the industry as well as welcoming some top chief executives and C-level speakers to our sessions, with the likes of Abta, Expedia, Tui and BBC already on board for 2021.
“WTM London is the ideal platform to present this thought provoking and top quality educational content to help get destinations and companies back on track.”
