Each itinerary will allow this year's Sustainable Travel Ambassadors in Training to experience positive-impact tourism first hand.
Taking place at the end of June, agents joining the Iberostar fam will visit Andalucia, where they will gain insight into the brand's pioneering ‘Wave of Change’ programme and get a behind-the-scenes look at its hotel operations.
Iberostar’s UK demand generation manager Charlotte Brown said: “By visiting this region, agents will see first-hand that we don’t need to travel across the globe to witness industry-leading coastal restoration and circular economy practices in action.
“These experiences prove that tourism and rigorous environmental protection can – and must go hand-in-hand, right here in Europe.”
Later in the summer, the Intrepid Travel fam will aim to prove to attending agents that responsible travel can be just as fun as it is meaningful – as they embark on a journey around Europe by train.
Intrepid's head of industry partnerships Carrie Grant said: “This immersive fam trip blends low‑carbon, rail‑first travel and will showcase Europe’s incredible connectivity, bold DEI empowerment and vibrant LGBTQIA+ community moments along the way.
“Expect meaningful conversations, inspiring partnerships and unforgettable encounters, proving that responsible travel can be joyful, social and seriously fun.
She added: “And because no great journey should end quietly, we wrap it all up with an epic festival finale, a celebration of culture, community and coming together with purpose.”
