Kim Thompson will join Auria as Business Development Manager at the start of December, from her current role as Training and Support Manager at Experience It Now Travel.
Auria Travel, which also has a high street store in Ashby de la Zouch, has a network of 13 homeworkers with ambitions for further growth.
Markus Kendall-Young, Founder and Director of Auria Travel, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Kim is joining us at such an exciting time for Auria Travel. She brings a wealth of experience, a real passion for developing people and, importantly, an understanding of what homeworkers need to build successful businesses.
“Having been a homeworker myself, I know first-hand how important it is to have the right support behind you, without unnecessary restrictions or barriers. For us, it’s about quality rather than quantity, building genuine relationships and giving people the freedom and tools to succeed.”
Kim Thompson added: “Having spent more than 19 years in the travel industry, I’m passionate about helping people grow their businesses, develop their skills and achieve their potential.
“Auria felt like the perfect next step for me. It’s an exciting opportunity to bring my experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to a growing business with a clear vision for the future.”
The agency joined the Advantage Travel Partnership from Protected Trust Services in May of this year, and was shortlisted in the high street category of TTG’s Top Luxury Travel Agencies list this year.
