Whalley will join Inspire on 9 March from Blue Bay Travel where she has worked since 2009, most recently in a commercial role.
Announcing the appointment, Lisa Henning, chief executive of Inspire Group, said Whalley brought "invaluable" homeworking experience alongside product, marketing and commercial expertise.
"During her career, Alice has worked across every stage of the customer journey, from customer support and operations to commercial strategy," said Henning.
"She truly understands the day-to-day realities of being a homeworker, which involves balancing sales, service, marketing, administration and growth, often all at once."
Henning added Whalley was joining at a key time, describing ITA as the fastest-growing part of the business, one that recently celebrated its "best-ever January".
"I can't wait to get started with Inspire and begin working with their fantastic team of homeworkers," said Whalley. "I am passionate about building strong, supportive relationships, strengthening commercial connections and creating sharper, smarter opportunities that drive confidence, performance and real earning potential."
Whalley takes up the position from Charlotte Gallop, who has held the recruitment and network sales manager role since April 2022.
Gallop launched her own homeworking business, Curated Getaways, under the ITA umbrella in May 2024 on a part-time basis. She has now decided to focus on the venture full time.
