The move is part of the package holiday firm's efforts to offer its 7,000-plus agent partners greater flexibility and control over customer bookings.
Agents can now make a range of booking amendments via the trade portal including:
- Changing holiday dates for bookings 28 days or more before departure
- Amending flight times to another flight on the same day, 28 days or more before departure
- Name changes of up to three characters for anyone on the booking other than the lead passenger
- Adding, removing, upgrading or downgrading a transfer, up to five days before departure
- Adding or amending seats prior to check-in
- Adding bags via the airline website
Furthermore, agents can access lower amendment fees for date, flight or seat changes made via the trade portal.
Amendments cost £25 per person when made through the portal, compared to £40 per person when processed by the holiday trade support team.
