Hill's Business Development and Supplier Relations position will focus on strengthening the agency's existing partnerships, build new ones and explore opportunities that will help it grow.
The agency said: "Linda brings a huge amount of travel industry knowledge, experience and, importantly, some brilliant relationships built over many years in the industry.
"She’ll also be bringing her experience and insight to the wider strategy of the business as we look at what comes next for us."
Hill sold her 22-year-old business LAH Travel to Hays Travel in August, but told TTG that her decision did not mean waving goodbye to the travel industry altogether.
"It's day one of the rest of my life – I'm only 54," she said at the time. "I've still got lots of passion and drive to go off and do something else within the travel industry."
"Bringing someone of Linda’s experience into the business feels like a very exciting step towards where we want to take it next," added The Good Travel Company, which has two branches in Ayr and Dumfries.
"There’s a lot happening behind the scenes just now, and something very special is taking shape here."
