Thomson has taken up a new partnership success manager role at Attraction World after nearly 20 years with Celebrity.
She started her career in travel as an Airtours rep before going on to join Royal Caribbean's sales team.
From there, she moved to Royal stablemate Celebrity as a customer service manager before progressing to the business development manager role she has held for the past decade.
In her new post, Thomson will be responsible for identifying and driving new commercial opportunities by strengthening Attraction World's relationships with travel's major consortia, tour operators and API partners.
Attraction World said Thomson would play a "pivotal" role supporting the growth and success of its retail trade division.
"After nearly 22 years in the travel industry, I’m still as passionate as ever about creating amazing experiences," said Thomson. "And as someone who loves Disney, Universal or any theme park come to think of it, I can’t think of a better place to be."
Attraction World retail director Kelly Hayre said Thomson brought "a wealth of travel industry experience" from her near 20-year spell with Royal Caribbean Group.
"We're confident she’ll be a fantastic fit for both the role and our team," said Hayre. "Janna's expertise and passion make her an exciting addition, and we can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make.”
Joe Hyland, Attraction World Group chief executive, added: "We’re confident she’ll thrive in her role, driving growth across some of our most critical business channels.
"The team is incredibly excited to have Janna on board and looks forward to seeing the energy and passion she’ll bring as she engages with our strategic retail consortia, tour operators and API partners."
