Parent Hotelplan UK said Franklin, who has previously worked for brands including Mark Warner and the former Page & Moy Travel Group, had played a “pivotal role” strengthening key trade partnerships and championing Inghams.
It described her leadership as having been “instrumental” in elevating the brand’s presence within the travel trade and ensuring agents receive “exceptional” service and support. The company added that “passionate and positive” Franklin left a “strong legacy and a team well-positioned for continued success”.
Franklin plans to take some time off to focus on herself and spend quality time with her family.
Christie Green, sales director at Inghams and Santa’s Lapland, said: “Julie has made an outstanding contribution to our business. Her dedication, expertise and enthusiasm have had a lasting impact across the organisation and with our valued agency partners.
"We are incredibly grateful for everything she has achieved and wish her the very best as she takes this next step.”
