Goffin began her travel career in 1991 on the Thomas Cook Graduate Scheme, progressing through a variety of marketing and product roles before joining Premier Holidays in 2000, where she “quickly excelled”.
In 2001, Goffin was promoted to head of marketing following a company restructure, before assuming the role of head of sales and marketing three years later.
According to Premier Holidays, Goffin has “played a central role” in driving commercial growth and strengthening trade partnerships, which led to her being appointed to the board of directors in 2017.
Managing director Niki Waters praised Debbie's “unwavering commitment" to the brand. “Her commercial acumen, vision and integrity will leave a lasting impact on our team,” she said. “Hugely respected across the travel trade, Debbie will be sorely missed.”
Goffin will continue to play a key role within Premier Holidays as a director, and will remain the company's senior trade sales contact through the transition process.
Further information on the company's senior team structure and future plans will be shared in due course.
