Business development manager Davies has been named national sales manager – non retail, a first for Jet2holidays. She will form a trio with existing national sales managers Nikki McGuire and Simon Mashall, tasked with driving trade engagement and delivering support across the UK.
In her new role, Davies will ensure non-retail agents receive more focused support to help them grow their business with Jet2.
Jet2 said the new position "reflects Jet2holidays' focus on homeworking and call centre travel agent partners" and its commitment to "putting them at the heart" of its Partners2Success strategy.
Davies's promotion comes just a few weeks after Jet2holidays hosted its first "summit" event for non-retail partners, welcoming nearly 200 delegates to the get-together in Leeds.
Sales executive Kerry Burnham, meanwhile, has been promoted to the role of business development manager.
The operator said the two promotions underlined its commitment to investing in and strengthening its trade team, which now stands at 19.
Alan Cross, Jet2holidays director of travel agent relationships, said: "Kat and Kerry both possess an enormous amount of experience, as well as passion, for supporting agents, and their promotions are a real demonstration of our commitment to our partners."
On Davies' promotion specifically, Cross added: "Working with non-retail agency partners is a critical part of our strategy, and Kat is perfectly placed to develop our partnerships even further. There is an enormous opportunity when it comes to mutually growing our businesses together, and we are looking ahead with real excitement."
