The airline and operator has added two destinations in Greece, and another in Italy, to its schedule for the 2026 summer season, claiming all three come in response to demand from customers and independent travel agents.
The first new addition in Greece is the Olympus Riviera, set on the northern Aegean in the shadow of Mount Olympus. Jet2 said the region caters for holidaymakers seeking cultural exploration and outdoor activities, blending natural beauty, history and culture.
It has put a range of three- to five-star accommodation on sale for summer 2026 in five resorts across the region, including Litochoro Plaka, Platamonas, Katerini Paralia, Neoi Poroi and Olympiaki Akti, offering a range of board basis from B&B to all-inclusive. A selection of properties in the resorts of Panteleimonas and Leptokarya are also available through Jet2Villas.
The Olympus Riviera will be accessible via Jet2 flights to Thessaloniki from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted airports starting from 3 April 2026 through to 31 October 2026, with all Jet2holidays bookings coming inclusive of hotel transfers.
Also on sale for summer 2026 in Greece is the Ionian island of Meganisi, located off the coast of Lefkas and hailed by Jet2 as one of the country's "best kept secrets". The island is accessible via Preveza airport, where Jet2 will fly from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Luton, Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle next summer (3 May 2026 to 20 October 2026). Package bookings include ferry and shuttle transfers.
Customers to Meganisi will be able to choose from a range of three- and four-star accommodation in and around the resort and port town of Vathy. Jet2Villas breaks to Meganisi are available too, with properties on sale in Spartochori, another of the island's main villages.
The final addition is Sicily's capital Palermo, which allows holidaymakers to combine a stay on the Sicilian coast with time in the history city, known for its architecture, markets and cuisine. Palermo will be available as an addition to Jet2CityBreaks' programme.
City break flights will operate from Birmingham (weekly, Wednesdays), Manchester (twice-weekly, Tuesdays and Fridays) and Newcastle (weekly, Tuesdays) from 1 May 2026 to 23 October 2026.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “The launch of these new destinations is fantastic news for customers and independent travel agents and comes in direct response to the demand we are seeing for holidays and city breaks next summer.
"Greece and Italy continue to be summer sunshine favourites, so we are adding even more choice thanks to the introduction of getaways to the Olympus Riviera and Meganisi, and the addition of city breaks to Palermo.
"These destinations will no doubt prove popular with customers and independent travel agents looking for either an authentic Greek holiday experience or a city getaway."
