The commission uplift will apply to all holidays booked across all current and future seasons made between Friday 19 December and Monday 12 January.
Jet2 has not disclosed the specifics of the uplift, but stressed it hoped the move would help agents "capitalise throughout a critical booking period".
It coincides with the launch of a new sale, which will see from Friday £100pp taken off all Jet2holidays booked via independent agents.
The sale applies to all of Jet2's brands, including its main Jet2holidays operation, Jet2CityBreaks, Vibe by Jet2holidays, Indulgent Escapes and Jet2Villas.
In addition, Jet2 is distributing tens of thousands of Take Off Tickets to independent agents prior to Christmas, with numbers dependent on sales performance.
These tickets are designed to incentive bookings via agents by offering their clients a further £60 off per booking code.
Jet2's recently launched Ready for Take Off campaign features a dedicated marketing toolkit for agents, as well as a chance for agents to win a Jet2 co-pilot experience. National advertising campaigns will also feature agent calls to action.
'Total commitment'
Alan Cross, Jet2holidays' director of travel agent relationships, said: “This is undoubtedly the biggest and best campaign we have ever created to ensure agency partners can boost sales and grow their businesses during peaks.
"Not only are we driving footfall and bookings at this crucial time by offering bespoke marketing support, dedicated Take Off Tickets and a fantastic sale, but we are also providing enhanced commission on all bookings.
"This investment in agency partners demonstrates our total commitment to them, and we are very excited about what we can achieve in partnership with independent travel agent partners this peaks and beyond."
