Annika Nickson of Nickson Travel has teamed up with Posy, which creates natural, eco-friendly skincare and deodorants. Together, they are positioning the Travel Right Kit as a thoughtful gift for conscious travellers as Christmas approaches.
Nickson said she is promoting it to clients as well as colleagues – anyone who travels and wants to do so more sustainably. “All of the pampering, none of the guilt," she said.
Each dual-branded kit includes Posy’s best-selling natural deodorant, shampoo and conditioner bars, as well as hand and body lotion and lip balm – plus a reusable wash cloth, bamboo straw (with coconut brush and pouch) and pen, all in a handy travel pouch.
The tins are reusable, so full-size product can be decanted into them.

Nickson personally tested the beauty kit everywhere from the turquoise lagoons of Tahiti to the icy wilderness of Svalbard. “As a [TTG] Sustainable Travel Ambassador, I’m always looking for ways in which to promote travelling more responsibly," she said.
"When I met Dale from Posy and heard about her sustainable, plastic-free products, it made perfect sense to collaborate with another local business with shared values.
“I hate the thought of introducing plastics and unnecessary chemicals into the places I visit, and by creating this kit we’ve allowed people to ‘travel light, travel right’. These products are luxurious, and kind to both you and the destination you’re visiting.”
Nickson is running an incentive whereby clients who show proof of purchase can get the full cost of their kit refunded against a future Nickson Travel booking. Customers also receive 20% off future Posy orders.
This is the second collaboration Nickson Travel has undertaken to help travellers cut down on single-use plastics, the first being with Water-to-Go, a refillable water filter bottle brand using Nasa technology.
Nickson Travel and Posy were introduced as part of a meeting organised by Pageant Party Newbury, where small local businesses could find ways to support each other. The Travel Right Kit is available to purchase now.
