Big winners on the night included Hurtigruten Group, which was named UK and Ireland Travel Company of the Year, and Ben Casey, who was crowned UK and Ireland Travel Agent of the Year.
Travel Counsellors chief executive Steve Byrne was recognised for his outstanding contribution to travel with the Travel Legend award, while Sunvil managing director Chris Wright was named LGBT+ Trailblazer of the Year.
Alice and Georgia Aubrey, co-founders of attraction booking platform Lovetovisit.com, meanwhile, took home the prestigious John Hays Entrepreneur of the Year award after their high commendation at last year’s awards.
