McNeish said she felt "a huge sense of pride" stepping up into a new position and helping Celebrity generally "elevate the premium travel category". The former head of sales will report into Stirrup in her new position.
As the line’s UK and Ireland sales director, she said she wants to continue building “on the amazing relationships we have with our trade partners, who we know are critical to the success of Celebrity Cruises”.
"We have a hugely exciting year ahead with our new ship, Celebrity Xcel launching in November and more news to come on our sixth Edge Series ship as well as our entry into river cruise," McNeish added.
"I’ll be making the most of these opportunities and ensuring our travel partners are on the journey with us, reaping the benefits of these landmark launches."
McNeish continued: "I’ll be working with the team to ensure we’re providing industry-leading tools and support to travel agents to support them in selling effectively.
"I’ve been fortunate to have worked at Celebrity Cruises for 11 years and have seen the business go from strength to strength. I’m excited to start the next chapter, particularly as I get to do this with an amazing team supporting me."
Celebrity confirmed it is actively recruiting for the UK and Ireland head of sales role which McNeish has vacated.
