Co-founded in February 2025 by Matthew Jones, Will Ellison and Emma Le Teace, better known as cruise influencer Emma Cruises, The Cruise Globe is a digital platform that allows people to log the cruise routes and itineraries they've travelled on.
The website and app, which is powered by AIS, enables users to map their cruise histories, track ships in real time and analyse voyage data, positioning itself as a "digital home" for avid cruisers.
It now has more than 135,000 users, who have collectively logged over 750,000 voyages. The new agency proposition is designed to monetise that engaged audience, leveraging Le Teace's more than 10 million monthly views to convert users into bookable clients through "personalised, expert-led" cruise sales.
Cruise Globe chief executive Jones said the move represented a natural progression for the brand. He described the combination of a large, trust-driven audience and infrastructure as an opportunity to create "an agency unlike anything that has existed before".
The brand has partnered with Global Travel Collection (GTC), which is owned by Barrhead Travel parent Internova Travel Group, to launch the agency operation. GTC said the partnership would strengthen its position in the cruise sector while introducing a digitally native model to its luxury agent network.
GTC president Angie Licea said the addition of The Cruise Globe would expand cruise engagement across its network and create new opportunities for agents and supplier collaboration, highlighting the platform’s combination of "innovation, deep cruise expertise and a highly engaged global audience".
The two new roles are positioned as senior, entrepreneurial opportunities, responsible for "setting the standard, shaping the culture and growing the team around them".
Successful candidates will benefit from a built-in pipeline of inbound demand via the app and content channels, alongside a compensation model that includes uncapped commission and equity participation. Applications for both positions are now open.
