Luke Vanderhoeven, recently promoted to senior strategic sales manager, is now overseeing both the field sales team and Royal Caribbean’s strategic account managers.
In an expanded role, he leads strategy and execution of Royal Caribbean‘s growth plans among third-party retailers and homeworkers.
David Hearn, meanwhile, has rejoined Royal's UK and Ireland sales team in a new business development manager role following two years as senior key account manager for Royal's Northern Europe markets.
Hearn, who first joined the UK sales team in 2013, will manage strategic projects for the team and serve as the key contact for new business partners in the UK and Ireland.
Two other team members, Laura Bailey and Chloe Palmer, have been promoted to strategic account managers. Bailey will oversee homeworkers and Palmer retail channels.
Bailey progresses from her role as sales development manager within the field sales team, while Palmer steps up from her position as key account manager.
In addition, a new member, Alice Logue, becomes sales development manager for Royal's south west and South Wales regions. Logue joins from Tui, where she most recently worked as senior retail manager.
Logue will work alongside Matt Whiteman-Reynolds as sales development manager for London and the south east. He joined the brand last month having held store manager roles at Virgin Holidays and other roles with Tui.
Logue and Whiteman-Reynolds complete the team of eight Royal Caribbean sales development managers reporting to Vanderhoeven.
These roles are complemented by two UK strategic account managers, who work closely with retail partners, and five key account managers, who support UK cruise specialists.
The changes mean Royal Caribbean now has a 21-strong UK and Ireland sales team under senior sales director UK and Ireland, Aaron Langford. “We proudly welcome Dave, Alice and Matt to their new roles, and congratulate Luke, Laura and Chloe on their well-deserved promotions," said Langford.
“These new hires and promotions are a commitment to building an ever-stronger sales team, ready to best support our partners ahead of a defining and exciting 2026 for Royal Caribbean in Europe and beyond.”
