With cruise now one of the most in-demand categories among TTNG members and their customers, the group is increasing the resources available to help members “convert more enquiries, build confidence and access stronger commercial opportunities”.
As demand continues to rise, the consortium is bringing all cruise-related activity together under John Wilson, who joined earlier this year.
This step provides members with a single, central point of cruise expertise, making it easier to access the tools, products and commercial partnerships that support the way they sell cruise.
Additionally, three new team members are joining the Cruise Club team (TTNG’s in-house cruise tour operator, available to all members), across sales and after-sales, taking the team’s headcount to 13.
The group will also be recruiting a cruise commercial manager to strengthen its commercial capability and “ensure members benefit from even stronger relationships and offers from cruise partners”.
As part of the wider update, the group is refining how responsibilities are structured to give each sector clearer focus. Its existing commercial team remains unchanged, with adjustments clarifying where certain supplier relationships sit. This is designed to ensure more targeted support for all business partners and members.
Gary Lewis, TTNG’s chief executive, said: “Our members are achieving fantastic results in cruise, and our investment is focused on supporting that momentum.
Bringing cruise activity together under John, alongside expanding the Cruise Club team, ensures our members have access to dedicated support, specialist knowledge and strong commercial opportunities as demand continues to grow.”
As part of its continued focus on member support, the group has already invited members to take part in a new initiative, with full details to be announced soon.
