Uniworld said the look and feel of the new ships would take inspiration from the rivers they sail on, including the Rhine, Main, Danube and Douro.
Each will feature custom fabrics, hand-carved wood and original artwork, as well as additional suites, dining venues and "ultra-luxurious" amenities.
Ellen Bettridge, Uniworld president and chief executive, said 2027 would be a "milestone" year for the line as it completes its transformation into a "fully Super Ship fleet".
"Our focus has never been on simply adding more ships, but on continually raising the bar on the luxury river cruise experience," said Bettridge.
The three new-builds will join the fleet and sail alongside SS Victoria, which launched last year, and SS Elisabeth and SS Emilie, launching in 2025 and 2026 respectively.
Uniworld’s ships average 120 guests in capacity, although each ship varies in size.
Late last year, Uniworld managing director UK and Ireland, Chris Townson, said the company was seeing strong demand for long-haul river bookings and bucket-list trips on the Ganges, the Mekong and the Peruvian Amazon.
“I’ve never seen anything like this in terms of trading,” he said at an event in late November. “Customers are ticking off [bucket-list destinations] one-by-one and booking forward."
