Packages are based on properties in the south and west of the island, with clients staying put in one property and using it as a base.
A sample package includes the three-star Fosshotel Reykholt, two hours’ drive from Keflavik airport. Jet2 has three nights room-only departing Manchester on 17th March 2025 for £399pp. The hotel provides easy access to the Deildartunguhver Hot Spring.
A four-star property, the Grimsborgir By Keahotels, is an hour south-east of Reykjavik. Three nights’ bed and breakfast departing from Leeds Bradford on 30 March is £489pp.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “We are pleased to be launching fly-drive packages to the south and west of Iceland for the first time and giving customers the opportunity to explore more of this bucket-list-destination at their own pace.
“The launch of these new packages is in response to feedback from customers who have been telling us that they want to head off the beaten track and discover all that western and southern Iceland has to offer.”
Packages are offered from 12 UK airports for the remainder of this winter and from September 2025 to April 2026.
