How does Arabian Adventures work with the trade?
While we operate a B2C channel within the UAE for residents and visitors to book experiences directly, our international business, including the UK, is fully B2B. We partner with tour operators, travel agents, and luxury consortia members to offer curated experiences that can be sold as standalone products or bundled into broader itineraries. We provide exclusive B2B rates, a dedicated booking platform for the trade, and tailored support for both FIT and group travel.
What trends are you spotting in the UK market?
The UK continues to be one of our top source markets. The country’s reputation as one of the safest and most stable destinations in the region plays a major role in sustaining traveller confidence. Luxury remains a key focus, and we work with top-tier operators and luxury specialists to meet growing demand. Popular properties for UK travellers include Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Al Naseem, and Atlantis The Royal. In parallel, we’ve seen growing demand for high-quality all-inclusive resorts within the UAE.
Despite the warmer weather, UK summer travel to the UAE has increased by 42% year-on-year through Arabian Adventures. This signals continued demand for short-haul, winter-sun-style holidays – offering guaranteed sunshine and exceptional service – even outside the traditional winter months.
For ultra-high-net-worth clients, we’ve curated a number of bespoke itineraries. One recent example is a private Veuve Clicquot dining experience in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. The experience includes luxury transfers, a private chef, and a guided nature drive, designed for small groups of up to eight guests.
In Oman, demand is also on the rise, especially for family-focused luxury travel. Six Senses Zighy Bay remains a top choice, and we’ve seen growing interest in The Chedi Muscat and Shangri-La Al Husn. We’re working with operators to build more tailored options in the region.
What is the top selling experience in your portfolio?
Our best-selling experience, across all markets, remains the Evening Desert Safari in Dubai. UK guests particularly appreciate the balance of adventure and cultural immersion: the combination of scenic dune drives, sunset views, traditional entertainment, and a quality dining experience. It performs strongly throughout the year and is a core part of our portfolio.
How can agents secure the best value for their clients?
Booking in advance is the most effective way to access the best value, with savings of up to 40% compared to in-destination rates. We also recommend bundling experiences where possible – such as city tours with desert safaris – for greater efficiency and value.
Our reservations team is available to support agents with tailored recommendations and insider knowledge, helping them match the right product to the client’s needs and budget. We encourage trade partners to reach out for advice on seasonal trends, product pairings, and exclusive offers.
How is your product evolving to meet the demand for more conscious, immersive travel?
Sustainability and cultural authenticity are central to how we design and deliver experiences at Arabian Adventures. With over 30 years of experience in desert tourism, we’ve built our operations on the belief that meaningful travel should protect the environment and celebrate the culture of the destination.
We’re proud to be the only DMC in Dubai awarded the Travelife Partner Award, in recognition of our long-term commitment to sustainable practices. Our partnership with the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR) is a core part of this – Arabian Adventures was among the first to operate in this protected area, and remains one of the few companies granted access today.
A portion of every safari booking goes directly to support the DDCR’s preservation work, allowing native wildlife to thrive and helping maintain the ecological balance of the UAE’s first national park. All of our desert guides are trained to the highest environmental standards and work closely with conservation stakeholders to ensure that guest experiences remain respectful, educational, and low-impact.
At the same time, we’re committed to offering travellers a deeper cultural connection. Our experiences incorporate elements of local Emirati heritage – from Bedouin-inspired hospitality to traditional cuisine and storytelling – ensuring that guests leave with a greater appreciation of the UAE’s identity, not just its landscapes.
How can agents learn more about your products?
Arabian Adventures regularly participates in major trade shows and exhibitions, and we host a variety of dedicated engagement activities – from interactive webinars and destination promotions to familiarisation trips designed to showcase the very best of the UAE, Maldives and Oman. We also run seasonal booking incentives and curate exclusive offers on hotels and unique experiences to help our trade partners stay competitive and inspired.
