Hainan Airlines now flies daily to Beijing, with an extensive network of domestic routes and good connections to other Asian cities. Apart from the convenience of being able to fly direct from the northern England gateway, a key selling point is Hainan Airlines continues to operate the shortest route to China, unlike other carriers that have had to extend flying time to avoid Russian airspace – so it really is the fastest and most convenient way to travel.

Moreover, Hainan Airlines has won many Skytrax accolades for its in-flight service and features the latest in-flight entertainment systems to keep your clients happy.

Beijing itself is another star attraction; visiting China’s capital at this time of year means lower air fares, while the city’s sights and outstanding museums are less crowded.

Why fly from Manchester to China?

Manchester has a key advantage over other regional airports with its direct link to China’s capital. Clients can avoid the inconvenience of having to take a connecting flight to London or a European hub, adding time and stress.

Why book in November?

Hainan Airlines’ flight, which began in 2016, went daily on 27 October this year, so there is extra capacity at a time of year that’s off-peak, which means some very keen fares both to Beijing and to onward destinations.

Beijing’s winter climate is cold but usually dry. Beijing’s National Museum of China and Forbidden City are must-sees at any time of year, but during autumn and winter are far less crowded. Outside the city, there are hot water springs at Gubei Water Town and opportunities to climb the Great Wall, again without the crowds. November is the time to catch autumn colours of the city’s maple trees – and remember, hotel rates will be much cheaper.

The Hainan Airlines experience

The Beijing flight departs Manchester at a very convenient time of 11.15am each day. The Airbus A330 offers economy and business cabins, the latter with fully flat beds, meaning a full premium experience. Both cabins feature the latest personal entertainment system. Hainan Airlines is the first and only Skytrax five-star airline on the Chinese mainland and has been awarded this accolade for 13 consecutive years since 2011, so a quality experience is assured.

Beyond Beijing

Hainan Airlines offers seamless connections to Bangkok and Tokyo to passengers travelling from Manchester. This makes the flight a very viable alternative to transiting through the Middle East or London airports.

It all adds up to Hainan Airlines

Your clients may not be familiar with the name, but with the advantages it offers, Hainan Airlines really is the only choice from Manchester to Beijing - and beyond - this winter.
