BA ramps up premium experience at T5

British Airways is getting ready to add an enhanced level of service for its First and Gold Executive Club customers with a new section at Heathrow Terminal 5 that connects them straight from check-in to its lounge.

British Airways goes extra mile for First customers

The new First Wing concept will open in April and will be located next to the airline’s First check-in area, which will be enchanced.

Once checked in, customers will pass through two new dedicated security lanes, and onwards to the Galleries First lounge and Concorde Room.

Troy Warfield, British Airways’ director of customer experience, said: “Terminal 5 is our flagship home and The First Wing will significantly improve the airport experience for our premium customers.”

When it becomes available in April, Oneworld Emerald members will also be able to use the First Wing.

Mark Jennings, Heathrow Airport’s head of premium services and fast track, added: “This underpins our commitment to improving the experience of our premium passengers and supports our vision of providing the world’s best airport service.”
