Belmond has launched a new range of experiences at its hotels in southern Europe this summer.
The luxury group’s ‘Sweet Art of Summer’ programme includes gastronomic options and excursions for guests staying at properties in Italy, Majorca and Madeira.
Culinary options include a sunrise breakfast served by a butler at Belmond Reid’s Palace in Madeira, a cookery class in the gardens of Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice, and picnics for guests at Belmond Hotel Caruso on the Amalfi Coast and Belmond Villa San Michele in Florence.
In Sicily, Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo is also operating a pop-up restaurant this summer in honour of the artist Otto Geleng.
Summer excursions include a sunset cruise across Portofino Bay to attend a private concert for those staying at the Belmond Hotel Splendido.
While guests at the Belmond Villa Sant’Andrea can travel to Sicily’s Filicudi Islands to spend time with local artists and fishermen.
Belmond is also promoting its ‘Suite Life’ offer at its southern European properties, which includes accommodation in a junior suite and daily breakfast.
