The properties featured in the new collection have been “carefully handpicked” by the Elegant Resorts team and offer a range of therapies and treatments including emotional healing, personal programmes created by ayurveda experts and mindfulness.

Lisa Fitzell, the operator’s managing director, explained: “Wellness has always been very close to my heart. I go on one retreat a year to reset and feel the benefits from it for the rest of the year.

“I know wellness is very much on our clients’ minds and while we always featured some wonderful spas, we wanted to offer an expertly curated collection of places that deliver the best programmes and treatments so our clients can easily choose what suits them best.”

The Wellness Collection can be found on Elegant Resorts’ website with each property designed to offer “a truly immersive experience for the mind, body and soul”.

The resorts include Thailand’s Chiva-Som, Palmaia, The House of Aia on Mexico’s Riviera Maya, COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali, Euphoria in Greece’s Peloponnese region, Oman’s Six Senses at Zighy Bay and Joali Being in the Maldives.
